Tamara Lynn Mitcham, of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Tianay Lopez; her mother, Dawn Swartz; her step-father, Ronald Swartz of Odessa, FL; sister, Jayna Hawkins; nephew, Nicholas Manderson; favorite aunt, Jaya Gaedtke and cousins, Scott and David Sulich. Tamara will be missed dearly by her loving family. She was a social worker for the State of Florida. Her loves were animals and sports. She was very social and never met a stranger. She truly loved life and had a great sense of humor. She was a wonderful person, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 West Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL, 33618, 813-968-2231 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel.

It is hard to believe it has been one year now since Tammy is gone and I know it must be very difficult for all of you. I am sure she is full of joy with her Creator and her Dad. I keep all of you in my prayers! God bless!
