Ruby Lee Winget Brown

Ruby Lee Winget Brown, 72 years old of Picayune, Mississippi, and a native of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, at Ochsner Medical Center, North Shore. She was born on Thursday, January 9, 1941, in Independence. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Henry Christian Brown; brother, Kelly Spencer Winget and wife Pamela Marie Winget; step-children, Cynthia B. Theriot and husband Terry, Fred C. Brown, Marsha B. Bernateisel and husband Mike, Scott J. Brown and wife Gail, Donna B. Hotard and husband Curtis; son-in-law, Mike Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Ray Winget; mother, Leoda Lewis Winget; daughter, Marilynn Marie; 2 brothers, Ollie Ray Winget and Keith Randall Winget. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Tuesday, December 31, 2013, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, from 8:00 am until the funeral service at 10:00 am, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Briar Patch Cemetery in Loranger. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name at any Capital One Bank.
