John Hildreth Obituary
Born in Worcester on November 23, 1934, he was the son of the late Clifford and Winifred (Connaire) Hildreth.
John had worked for the Town of Wakefield in the Water Department before his retirement. He was a life long resident of Wakefield and a member of St. Joseph parish.
He was the brother of Brendan "Sluggo" Hildreth of Melrose, Matthew Hildreth of Wakefield, Mary Rita Hildreth of Stoneham and the late Thomas Hildreth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the great uncle of Joseph, Jeffrey and James Harvey.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

I remember Jackie from many years ago - when I was a child, and we all would go out fishing together.. The last time I saw Jackie was at my father Ray's funeral almost 25 years ago now. I'll never forget how he looked at me. I'll never forget the sweet man that he was.. Rest in peace, Jackie. You were, and still are, well loved, and sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to Matt and all family.
