Priscilla Ann DeVries

Priscilla Ann DeVries of Weeki Wachee, Florida was called home to eternal life on 4/27/2014 at the age of 63. She was born December, 11, 1950 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Michael Job and Mary Emerson. Priscilla grew up in Jackson MI, was a graduate of the St. John's High School, Class of 1968 and JCC receiving a degree in accounting. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Priscilla is survived by her husband Royal DeVries of 44 years, daughter Heather Putnam of Jackson MI, son Jason DeVries of Weeki Wachee FL, two grandchildren Cody (Angela) and Tyler Hadley of Jackson MI, brothers Michael, Steve (Shelley), Randy (Anne), Jeff (Becky) Job, sister Milissa Laves and several nieces and nephews. Priscilla was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, wife and friend devoted to raising her family. Priscilla enjoyed reading, traveling, dancing, singing and camping with her family and friends. She will be remembered as an ardent country western fan, overjoyed to meet entertainers Garth Brooks, Doug Stone, and Aaron Tippin. As a skilled karaoke singer, Priscilla often entertained large gatherings of family and friends at her home providing them with opportunity to perform karaoke. Her smile, laughter, sense of humor and love will live on in all who knew her. At her request, cremation has taken place. Please join us to celebrate Priscilla's life, a memorial mass with Fr. James Shaver will be held on May 24th at 10:30AM in her honor at St. Joseph Church Jackson MI.
