Jeremy D. Long

Jeremy D. Long, 41, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014. Born March 28, 1973, in Rockford, the son of Robert D. Long and Darlene (Mortellaro) Gulbrantson. Jeremy graduated from East High School. He was free spirit and lived his life just that way. His daughter, Kaylee, was the love of his life. In his death, Jeremy gave the greatest gift of life by being an organ donor. Survived by his daughter, Kaylee; mother, Darlene (Dan Babcock) Gulbrantson; brother, Jason (Theresa Conley) Long; girlfriend, Amy Powers and her daughter Tiffany and her husband, Franć, who he was very close to; aunt, Gloria Gustafson; uncle, Ron (Helen) Mortellaro and cousins, Andrea, Shelley, Jon and Ryan. Predeceased by his father, Robert, his stepfather, Dale Gulbrantson, his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt, Sharon Mortellaro-Theiss and uncle, Doug Gustafson.
