Richard W. Travis 72, late of Mokena, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Beloved Husband of 40 years of Nikki (nee Discianno) Travis; Loving Father of Richard M. (fiancée Jennifer Kotus) Travis and Gina M. (Kevin) Dwyer; Cherished Papa of Hannah, Benton and Everett Dwyer and Nash Travis; Dear Brother of David G. (Allene) Travis; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Richard was employed as an Auto Frame Technician at Custom 77 Auto Rebuilders in Midlothian for 43 years. He loved to fish, restore old cars and go antique hunting. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment Private.

Dear Rich, thinking of you today as I do often we all miss you, your smile and sense of humor, you would be so proud of your family, Gina has three awesome children her and Kevin are doing very well and Riche has three children also, they are so awesome also and Richie and Jen are doing very well also, but I know you know that because I'm sure you're watching over them always They all miss you so much especially Nikki she's lonesome without you.
