Mrs. Roberta Kistner

Roberta Westbury Kistner, 83, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 28, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Roberta was born April 20, 1931 in Charleston, SC. She was a graduate of Memminger High School and attended Winthrop College. She retired from Southeastern Fertility Center, where she worked as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by her son, Mark Richards and his wife, Susanne, of James Island, SC; her brother, Julian A. Westbury and his wife, Emily, of Mountain Rest, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph K. Westbury.
