MONKS, BRUCE L. Age 90 of Clinton Township passed away August 22, 2014. He was born November 8, 1923 in Lansing, MI. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Monks & the late Estelle Ura. Loving father of Mary Kathleen Johnston, Kevin, Patrice(Richard)Heinz, Michael(Marietta) & Denis(Cheri). Proud grandfather of 14 & great grandfather of 4. Dearest brother of Janice Hays & the late Paul Monks. A former State Representative and Supervisor of Clinton Township, Mr. Monks retired from the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. He was a member of the MI Bar Association. He was an avid bridge player belonging to both the Fraser & Warren Seniors . Visitation Monday 3-9pm with 7:00pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Funeral Tuesday Instate 10:30am at St. Paul of Tarsus Church 41300 Romeo Plank at Canal until time of Mass at 11:00am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
