Ruth Knoll

Ruth Jane Baron Knoll, resident of Holland, peaceably went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 18 at the age of 92. Ruth was born to Edward and Jennie Baron on September 3, 1922 in Holland and was the last of six children. She married Willis Knoll on January 3, 1946. They had one daughter, Esther Knoll Kortering. Ruth was a member of First Reformed Church in Zeeland. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis in 2012. Ruth Knoll will be forever remembered by her caring daughter and son-in-law Esther and Erv Kortering, beloved grandchildren Amy and Steve (Kortering) Schrotenboer, Michael and Erin Kortering, Jodi (Kortering) Blystra, Sara Kortering, Tim and Hannah Kortering, and Jeremy and Lisa Kortering, and great grandchildren Matthew Schrotenboer, Mikayla Schrotenboer, Madison Schrotenboer, Makenze Schrotenboer, Abigail Kortering, Stephanie Blystra, Christopher Blystra, Joshua Blystra, Drew Kortering, Caleb Kortering, Evelyn Kortering, Tarrin Kortering and Beckham Kortering. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Yntema Funeral Home at 251 South State Street, Zeeland and a funeral service on Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Zeeland, 125 East Lincoln, Zeeland. The Reverend Scott Van Oostendorp will officiate. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
