I worked with David at IVS Media, David and the entire Show Services Team were professional and very talented. He always had a great idea and was an excellent Sound Tech. My prayers are with his Family and Friends in Charleston. David was one of those rare people who can never be replaced. God Speed David!

Jeannie - I know we never met, but I want to offer my condolences and share my experience working with your wonderful husband. I had the privilege of collaborating with David many times over the years while promoting shows in Charleston. He was always a pleasure to work with and brought joy to all those around him. David's absence leaves a void that will be impossible to fill and he will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you & your family right now. The world lost a great man last week.

I am deeply saddened by David's passing. He was the ultimate professional at the NCPAC and Coliseum. He was kind and courteous as he worked in his quiet and efficient way to accomplish the tasks needed for our North Charleston POPS! concerts and the Broadway shows. Even when he was frustrated and over-burdened, he was very patient, methodical and never uttered an unkind word. A magician at the soundboard, he made each show the best it could possibly be. We will all miss him dearly. We are honored to dedicate our February 7 concert to him and hope that it will help to ease the terrible pain of our loss. He was a wonderful guy. I feel blessed that I crossed paths with him in life. I only wish it were for a longer time. My heart goes out to the family, both his biological family and to his Coliseum and Performing Arts Center family, at the profound and untimely loss of a dad, husband, grandfather, brother, true friend and colleague. His life touched so many people!

I had the pleasure of working with David when I was in college. Charleston Southern University's college chapter of the National Association of Music Education assisted with the SCMEA annual conference when it included the PAC. David was an incredible leader and was also a patient teacher while twenty college students offered to help him. He will be greatly missed.
