Worked with Steve at Fidelity for the past 3 1/2 years. Our staff meetings won't ever be the same without Steve addlibbing his way through the meeting. God Bless you Steve and Godspeed. My heartfelt condolences to the Assad family.

Steve was a colleague of mine at Fidelity. He had such a positive outlook that can only be described as infectious. He was so lighthearted that he just made you smile and laugh whenever you were around him.
My condolences to the Assad Family during this very difficult time. We'll all miss Steve. We are all fortunate to have spent what little time we had with Steve and are better off because of it.

Marilynn, Stephen's wife and children,
I was so sorry to read about Stephen and your loss. He was a wonderful person and full of fun and laughter. I knew him way back when he visited his sister Marilynn and was hoping to get a spot on TV. An aspiring "weather-man" this is what he had in mind at that time.
My heart breaks for all of you and please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Maybe one day in the future you will have great memories just thinking of Stephen.
God bless!

To the Assad family our deepest condolences. Steve sat next to me at work, he was a very positive person and was a hard and dedicated worker who took deep dives into the projects he worked on. I also got to know him better and he and I shared some good times working together as well. It was indeed a huge shock to us when we found out about his passing and the void left can never be filled. Steve enjoyed when we would ask him about "weather" it seemed to light him up and he would go into his teaching mode. Dear Steve thanks for letting us be part of your life, we are blessed to have known you. rest in peace my friend, we will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Marilynn, Pam and children,
How devastating and unbelievable the passing of Steven must be- he was a loving and kind person who always made those around him happy. He would always put a smile on your face. With the loss of my Mother this same week, we are grieving for two. Please know that you are in my prayers and in our thought as well. May God grant him eternal happiness in his kingdom of heaven . We will miss him!

My brother and best friend left us yesterday.
He was the best man I know. A caring brother, father and husband. He had a smile and a joke for everyone and lit up the room.
People gravitated to his warmth and genuine
personality. And his humor was always a treat. We were there for each other through thick and thin for 58 years. The loss of both parents way too soon bonded us in a very special way. There are no words to express how heart broken I am for all of us. May you rest in peace baby brother as you are welcomed with open arms by Mom and Dad.
Love you always, Marilynn

I'll never forget Steve taking me to the dance floor at Paul's 65th birthday party and dancing with me. My 5' frame against his 6'8" frame was a funny sight to see (he danced great, though). Always in my prayers I'll miss your funny sense of humor and your generous hospitality. Love ya, big guy. Sue Clark
