I'm the child of a police dispatcher,
I'm so very proud to say.
My mom took care of me.
And she also dispatched everyday.
There were times when she had to work,
And could not attend to me.
So our radio family stepped up to help so graciously
They helped to raise me into the person I am today
They weren't just co-workers they were our family
They attended each others events weather Happy or Sad
And they put me in check when I was bad
They made baskets, costumers, and wrapped gifts
They did all this and worked a double shift
If we were stranded and needed a ride
They would show up and be by my side
All the kids knew the code to the door
We buzzed ourselves in and walked on to the floor.
We were greeted with a hug and kindly asked is everything ok ?
The police dispatchers raised me I'm proud to say
My radio family I need you again
God has called me home and my mom will need a friend
So please watch over her like you watched over me,
Drop her a text a call or even a tweet
Remind her of the good times that were shared by us all.
I need you again my police family
Please take care of my mom until again we can meet
Help her to mend her broken heart
I can rely on you to do your part
This is why I am proud to say
I'm the child of a dispatcher who god has called away
Rest in Peace Brian I will miss you so much Love Aunt Dolly

I went to school with Brian for the year and a half. I didn't know him very well. He was a sweet and funny guy. Always nice to me. My prayers are with his family. Rest in peace Brian.
