There are so memories surrounding Miss Gerry. The Bells and the Barbers were best of friends over the years. I specifically remember a family trip to the Poconos with them. The whole family had a great time. My years as a MTHS majorette with my sister Terri Bell Matera would have never been the same without her. Our years of dance and recitals I will always hold dear to my heart. I would have never been an aerobic instructor had I not had the years of dance experience with her. The best was her showing up at one of my classes. Now I was the teacher she the student, she brought me an apple and laughed that Miss Gerry laugh that was undeniable . Here is to you Miss Gerry~~~~ I sure hope those angels appreciate your time step !!!

Dear Uncle Ronald and "boys",
What a great lady that I got to call family. I have such good
memories -I found a picture of me all dressed up - I was in the queen's court - date on photo was August 1958 - I was five - dance lessons in the studio behind the house- she didn't give up on me - I made it to one recital and than I think she convinced my Mom that dancing wasn't really my thing that I would have rather been playing football with Ronnie and Gary - Gary, do you remember we use to ride down the steps on our behinds - I do - I remember dinners in that great old kitchen. We all had such great times together. Your are all in my thoughts and prayers -
Love, Donna
(Ed and Millie's daughter)

Miss Jerry was one of the most generous women I've ever known, I will forever thank you for helping me reach my dream of competing in collegiate gymnastics, and for the compliments I still receive on my 'good posture.' I believe many girls in my generation in Cape May County owe their coordination and grace to you, and you will always hold a very special place in my heart. May you RIP
My love and condolences to Ronnie and the rest of the family as well.

Ms. Jerry taught my cousin and I many, many years ago. I loved every minute of it! I'm about to be 52 years old and I still have very fond memories of my time at Ms. Jerry's school. May God bless her soul and every one of her loved ones!

So sorry for your lost. Mrs. Barber was a wonderful person. Jim's sister Kathleen remembers taking dancing lessons and doing the chicken dance. This song as Jim would describe to me, was crazy in fact the brothers (Jim, David and Sam) could do the dance and the song. God has a beautiful angel watching over us all. Rest in peace. Our prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
