Ethel was never without a smile, she was quick with her wit and enjoyed a good laugh. She enjoyed reminiscing about her travels, her teaching and her students. She enjoyed the morning paper, and was always ready to debate the political scene, always to hear the other person's views. She was full of curiosity with a passion for her love of learning, the excitement and challenge. Although I have only known her this past year, I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her and have fond memories of our talks as well as the humor, we had many laughs. God bless you Ethel, I know you are at peace with your family, friends now with our lord. I Thank you for your kindness and friendship and I will miss you. Michael

Aunt Ethel was a very giving and accomplished lady. I cherish the memories of her annual visits to see our family in Ontario, or join us in the summer in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She always had her camera in Hand and often brought slide shows from her exotic travels. She was a larger than life character who inspired me as young girl growing up to pursue a career and become anything I wanted to be. My fondest memories of her were watching her with my Mom, Shirley and my Aunt Nora tell stories and share many laughs when Ethel visited. The three had an unbreakable bond. I'm sure they are all sitting down to high tea in heaven. Rest in peace my beloved Aunt Ethel.

Such a sweet lady. Always happy with a smile on your face. Best memory I have is the last time we went to Salem Willows together, it was such a delight to see you so happy. Best day ever. May you rest in peace.
