Patrick J "Gilly" Gillis

Patrick J. "Gilly" Gillis 50, of Franklin, died peacefully, Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Susan L. (Reynolds) Gillis for 18 years. Born July 20, 1966 in Framingham, son of Joseph P. and Micheal A. (Quirk) Gillis of Westborough, he was a resident of Franklin for the past 17 years. He was raised in Westborough and was a 1984 graduate of Westborough High School. He continued his education at Framingham State University where he received a Bachelors' degree. He worked as a logistics coordinator for the EMC Corporation. A devoted husband and father, he was dedicated to his children; Brandon, Shelby, and Brett, all of Franklin. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, and loved music, especially The Beatles. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his 2 brothers; Timothy P. Gillis and his wife Ann Marie of Northborough, Daniel J. Gillis and his girlfriend Katie of Franklin, 2 sisters; Elizabeth A. "Betsy" Barr and her husband John of Westborough, and Susan G. Franco and her husband Dave of Holliston, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass Monday Aug. 1st, at 10AM in St. Mary's Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin. Interment will be held privately. Calling hours are Sunday July 31st, from 2-6PM at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, MA.
