I knew Edith while she resided at Horizon Bay, where I am employed. I loved her sense of humor, and huge smile. I have missed her and thought of her often. My thoughts and prayers are with the family..

My mother was, I think, a remarkable woman and mother. She was strong willed, controlling, wanted things done NOW, a perfectionist of herself and others and had no qualms about speaking her mind. She was also very loving and giving of herself. These last couple of years has been very special for me with my mom. I saw her impatience with life and the need to get things done that had always been a part of her softened. She was gracious with those around her and more so with herself. She never failed to tell me how much she loved me; often 5 or 6 times as we closed the door to leave her room. She taught me acceptance of thing that can't be changed and gave me the love of a wonderful mother. She will be in my thoughts always and I will smile. I love you, Mom. Say hi to Dad for me. Elizabeth
