I just learned of Richard's passing. I want the family to know that I considered Richard a good friend and always enjoyed visiting with him when I was in Orient. I made it a point to stop by his station to get gas so I could say hello. All my best to his family. Jim Mease - Farmers & Merchants State Bank

We are so sorry to hear about Richard. Growing up he was a big part of many lives. He loved to have fun with us. I will never forget the time we took the gas station ringer and ran it across to the highway. He'd run out the door and no car there for gas. Took 3 times before he figured out what we had done. We laughed till the tears came. May you find comfort in your memories.
