I genuinely looked forward to his trig & pre-calculus classes. A man who could make you smile even if you were the reason for displeasure or disappointment. We'd sometimes try to get a rise out of him - to "test" him but he always responded in good humor and was an effective teacher. We have lost a jovial soul.

Ellen and family,
I had Mr. Cote for geometry at Shrewsbury High a long time ago! He was a teacher that cared if his students excelled in class. I had the pleasure of running into him again a few years ago while getting ice cream. He was the same jovial man I remembered and he remembered me right away. I'm sorry for your loss of such a good man.

God Bless

Dearest Ellen and Family,
After reading all the other entries of accolades....I think it is save to reiterate: He lit up the room with his smile and his genuine interest in you as a person. He loved his family, and life! Peter and I were so lucky to visit with him during our last trip back "home". The memory of his joyous laugh will remain with us always. We know where you are George...until we meet again....
Blessing and Peace to all the family. XO Susan & Peter

Mr.Cote was my geometry teacher in high school.Although I flunked his class, I was able to make it up by taking it again with him at night classes held at SHS. That was when I realized not only was Mr.Cote a great teacher but also a kind, caring man. Many years later, while working at a small store, Mr. Cote came in and remembered me! It was so nice seeing him after such a long time. To his family and friends, you have my heartfelt sympathy. God Bless you all.
