Amanda Cothran Obituary

Amanda Katherine Cothran, 29, of Gray Fox Lane, Liberty, wife of Eric Cothran, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Greenville Health Care System. Born on December 6, 1984 in Anderson to Clinton and Katherine Smith, she was employed with BOSCH and a graduate of Wren High School. Mrs. Cothran loved fishing, the outdoors, going to the Jockey Lot, trips to the mountains; and attended Galilee Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cothran is survived by two sons; Hayden and Caleb Cothran, of the home; a brother, Shane Smith (Adriann) of Liberty; her maternal grandparents, Eddie and Linda Hicks of Liberty; two aunts, Linda Young (James) and Dove Stewart (Tim), both of Liberty. Mrs. Cothran is also survived by a special four-legged friend, Meme. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Galilee Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Clyde Gravely Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Rd. Easley SC, 29642. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. The family is at the home of her parents, 1817A Christopher Road, Liberty. Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com, or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, which is assisting the family.
