Our sympathies and thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. Freddy was the kindest man, and he will be deeply missed by everyone he touched. The world lost one of the great ones on New Year's Day 2017! Love, Audrey and Michael Freedman

Thelma, It saddened me to read of Freddie's passing. I always enjoyed when both of you stopped in to talk. As you know I am away and will not be able to attend Freddie's service, but my thoughts are with you.

Wow, how does one sum up in just a few words the impact Fred had on those around him? I grew up across the street from Fred, Thelma, Meryl and Diane. Thelma and my mother were the closest of friends as were Diane and I, Meryl was our babysitter, and Freddy, the friend you called when you needed absolutely anything. He was kind, funny, and always there to lend a helping hand. He and Thelma loved to travel and took my mother Sylvia (may she rest in peace) with them on some of their adventures. Oh did she enjoy their trips together! I was able to join them on one such adventure to the British Isles when I was about 6 or 7. What fabulous memories our families made on that trip together. "Why don't I get the little girl and little boy some souvenirs"...said a train conductor to Freddie about me and Diane. Clearly the man thought I was a boy with my short hair, but Fred quickly corrected him and tried to console me. We still laugh about that today.
Every holiday, or just because, Thelma and Fred send a letter and pictures of my Mom on some of their trips or of me and my siblings when we were little. When I see the return address, I become elated because I know what I will find inside. I don't think they know how much of an impact that small gesture has had on me over the years.
Fred was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by so many. I am so sad to learn of his passing and pray for Thelma, Meryl, Diane, Todd and Jesse. He gave so much to those around him with his kindness and selflessness. I will treasure the wonderful memories forever.

I consider myself very lucky to have met Freddie and was able to call him my friend. Trips to Brigantine always had to include our visit with Freddie and Thelma. He had such wonderful stories to tell us and always had a little gift for each of us.
Freddie always remembered each of my family and always was interested in how they were doing. He will truly be missed
I'm thankful for wonderful memories.
