I am so sorry to hear the big man has passed away from the old neighborhood, just reminded me of rafting from the backyard at your house on School Lane all the way down to the circle at bottom of School Lane right after a thunderstorm and every time your dad saying we would not make it ..... but we did. Just one of the many fond memories of the old neighborhood To Kim, Keith, Karin and Mrs Brian aka Barb, we were proper back then, I am sorry for your loss and missing to see everyone.

Things I learned from my brother:
Respect electricity - especially capacitors. I learned this while watching him working on a piece of equipment while he was in high school. He had unplugged the equipment and had begun to test components when - bam - he was no longer sitting on his stool. I decided not to work on electronics, ever.
Don't become a taxidermist. Again, he was on the stool working on skinning a snake which had been preserved for a week. As he was in the process of removing the skin he must have cut a muscle or other tissue that made the snake twitch. Again, he was off the stool and on the floor.
Don't smash pumpkins in Pitman at Halloween. Not only will the police hold you and your friends until your parents come to get you but your father really gets mad during the drive to the police station.
And most importantly, when you get married and have a family be the devoted husband and father your family deserves.

My condolences to Doyle's family. I will miss Doyle very much. He was my computer back-up for all the Sportsmen's Club notes ever since he started our website. I am not very good on the computer, but I could always count on Doyle to pick me up. I could never thank him enough for all of his help. God Bless all of you.

Dear Brian Family
I / We are so sorry for your loss
As you know, Doyle was not only a board officer and Life member, but a true friend of the West Caln Sportsmen Club.
As a club, we depended on his knowledge of computers to bring us into the twenty first century...
To say we tested his patience from time to time would be an understatement, to say the least. haha
His knowledge of our club not only helped him run our website like no one else ever will, but was the driving force behind our latest addition of by laws.
As a club, we thank you for lending him to us, and always supporting his love of our / his club
God Bless

I met Doyle many years ago when I worked out of the Valley Forge office of IBM. He was a man who enjoyed life and loved a good laugh. His friendship will be missed.
