Ms. Ruby Jane West

Ruby Jane West, 69, of Cedar Grove, returned to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Ms. West was born November 1, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky. She worked as a secretary at A-1 Sanitation and she was a faithful member of Blue Lick United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Davis and Edith Hester West; her siblings, Freddie West, Charlotte Loyall, Jimmy West and Joseph West. She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Earl West, Beulah West, June Groves, Gail Martin (Clem); several nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Blue Lick United Baptist Church (4271 E. Blue Lick Rd., Louisville, KY) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) and Sunday at Blue Lick United Baptist Church, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service .www.subfuneralhome.com
