Our prayers are with the entire Logan family upon Jack's passing. Oh Lord where has the time flown since we were all together on tiny Devotion St. with the fire station across the street. Jack led an exemplary life and was a great guy (like so many other firemen). I remember those days like it was yesterday. The Logans, the Flanagans, the McGregors and the Johnsons. It's a sad time for all of you but he's soaring with a great smile on his face. God bless him!!! Bob, Peter, Connie

Mr. Logan was a great friend to my dad, Jerry Driscoll. Along with their shared love of God and commitment to their church, they enjoyed years together as ham radio operators and members of the Wellesley Radio Club. When my dad gave up driving, Mr. Logan unfailingly picked him up for club meetings and events. A special man - he will be missed by many. Rest easy, Mr. Logan.

Dear family and friends:

We are very saddened to hear the passing of our good friend Jack (radio call N1TPU). He was key a member of the Wellesley Amateur Radio Society. Jack gave talks, and helped us with many radio events.

Even in later years, Jack still supported the club, and did so with kindness, friendship and respect.

We would often chat on ham radio and separately a few of us would have dinner and share a laugh with him as a small gang called the Troubadours.

God bless and a fond 73,

My Uncle Jackie was quite a role model. His love and devotion to his family, his faith in God and commitment to his community has had a great influence of me and my family. My Mum's big brother was" right next door" most of the time and always had a smile. Will miss the man who cried more when he was happy than when sad.

You loved Jack at "hello". He was an exemplary person. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. The word "no" was not in his vocabulary(nor in his son's vocabulary). He always was willing to help out and asked for nothing in return. Jack you will be so missed by so many. Fondly, Betsy, Randy & Frank

On behalf of the Needham Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 298, Needham we extend our condolences to Jack's family. Jack was a longtime member of our Post, and a past Commander of the Post, and we benefited from his leadership. Jack as the Town veterans agent, assisted many of us in our transition from military to civilian life. He will be missed. We are honored to be able to be a presence at his wake as members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2498

My most sincere condolences to Mrs. Logan and family on the passing of Jack. It seems just the other day I saw him at an event and he looked and sounded grand. I also recall with a warm smile my first interactions with Jack when he was volunteering with Needham Cable, then when I was a Selectman and he a veteran's agent, and later down at the beach. He always did an incredible job with the Memorial and Veteran's Day events. Friendly to all, and always willing to lend a helping hand - Needham will miss him - may he rest in peace.
