Joyce Joan Wilkinson

Joyce Wilkinson age 77 of Neligh passed away at Antelope Memorial Hospital on April 16, 2017. A Private Family Services will be at a later date by her request. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Joyce (Krebs) Wilkinson was born October 21, 1939 to Harold and Esther (Nore) Krebs at Neligh, Nebraska. She attended Neligh Public School and graduated with the Class of 1957. On November 3, 1957 she was united in marriage to Dale Wilkinson at the Congregational Church in Neligh. To this union, three sons were born, Lee, Allen, and Michael. Joyce spent 35 years as the office manager for the Aksarben Livestock Show and Rodeo in Omaha. She was an active member of PTA while living in Norfolk. She was most recently a member of the Golden Grannies Extension Club, Red Hat group, Meadowlark Camp Club and Just Country Band. Joyce loved camping, traveling, craft work, soap operas on TV, and cooking for large gatherings. She was always ready to help others if need be. Her and Dale spent the first six years of retirement in South Texas during the winter months. She was also co-host of "Jammin` in The Park". Joyce is survived by husband, Dale of Neligh. Sons, Lee of Omaha, Nebraska, Allen of Overland Park, Kansas, and Michael (Diane) of Overland Park, Kansas. Also are four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Siblings are one sister, Sharon (Tom) Stibal of Lincoln, Nebraska and two brothers, Harlan (Bonnie) Krebs of Neligh, and Eldon (Louise) Krebs of Gordon, Nebraska. Brothers-in-law, Ron Wilkinson (Donna) of Oakdale, Lynn Wilkinson (Pat) of Neligh and Vance Wilkinson (Lorri) of Chapman, Nebraska and one sister-in-law Rose Ann Cool (Pat) of Columbus, Nebraska. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
