Ward (nee Velbeck), loving father of Deborah Hutton (Tom), Diane Vasko (Dave), James (deceased) (Geneva), Michael (Diane), Eileen Pastrick (Jim), Gerald (Audrey) and Richard (Kris); and Stepsons John Just and Peter Just (Wendy); Dear grandfather of Matt Hutton; Rebecca and Lauren Vasko; Jim, Kristen, Alex and Nathan Ward; Amanda Pastrick; Austin Ward; Kendra and Kelsey Ward; Step-grandfather of seven; great grandfather of three; brother of Patricia Coyne (William), Thomas (Margaret), Robert (Rosemary) and the late William Ward; uncle and great uncle of many. Retired Metallurgical Engineer at Reliance Electric. Passed away, Friday, May 12, 2017. Funeral Mass, St. Raphael Church (525 Dover Center Rd., Bay Village), Tuesday, May 16th at 10:30 am. Interment Holy Cross. Friends may call at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE, 25620 Center Ridge Rd. (West of Columbia Rd.) MONDAY from 4-8 pm. Family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Raphael Scholarship Fund or St. Angela Merici Guardian Angel Fund. The family would like to extend warm thanks to the Ames Family Hospice House.
