Jonny was a Great guy. Loved working with him on Last Out in the 7th. Still talked to him at FOP from time to time.. He will be missed even though we weren't in each other's pockets..

I am very saddened by the passing of John. We worked together for many years and became good friends. We kept in touch periodically through the years when something good happened in our lives. He was such a great guy who suffered more than anyone should in one life time, but never complained. John may you Rest In Peace and you will be missed sadly.

Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed so much at the crazy busy nut hut along with that amazing smile that can never be duplicated. Your constant nice compliments, easy going lighthearted manner and ability to just make me smile every time I'd come on by are memories I will cherish forever! Watch over us babe please, until we meet again, xoxo The Jonas Family

John it was a pleasure working with you in the 7th District. We both were transferred the same day to the 7th and worked together in 5 squad. Then I used to come and talk with you at the FOP. after we both retired.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to John in 2000 at Einstein Transplant. Over the following 17 years, our relationship was more of a friendship as opposed to Doctor - Patient association. He was a great guy as evidenced by his longtime friend and police partner Bobby being his kidney donor. I know he is in heaven keeping a watchful eye on his family. RIP Big John... I will definitely miss ya!!!
