William J. Slivka

William J. Slivka, 82, of Newburgh Heights, born April 14, 1935, passed on May 23, 2017 in the company of his family. Beloved husband of Maureen (née Finley); loving father of James (Judy), Erin (Ocean), and Megan, and devoted step-father of Brian (Myra), Mary Jo, and Jennifer Walters; cherished grandfather of Terri and Taylor; dear brother of Jane (Don) Dahlhausen. William graduated from Benedictine High School and, later, John Carroll University where he served in the National Guard. He graduated with his law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and, along with his private practice, served as Law Director for both Seven Hills and Newburgh Heights.
