Elvira W. (nee Winsch) Ebinger

Elvira W. Ebinger (nee Winsch), a resident of Levittown since 1969, formerly of the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late George W. Ebinger. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Elizabeth Winsch, her seven sisters and one brother. She was the loving mother of George, Virgina, Thomas (Penny), Elizabeth and the late Robert Ebinger (his surviving spouse, Cynthia). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Elvira enjoyed her family, gardening and music. Relatives and friends are invited to Elvira's Life Celebration Wednesday, May 31st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 1st, from 10:00 a.m., followed by her Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., at Beck-Givnish of Levittown, 7400 New Falls Rd. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elvira's memory to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Phila.
