Olive C. Gregory

Olive C. Gregory, age 84, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Edgewood Manor in Wellston, Ohio. She was born October 13, 1932 in Warrington, Cheshire, England, daughter of the late Stanley Cork and Harriett Evans Cork. Olive grew up in wartime (WWII) near Liverpool, England. She and her family survived bombings and food rations. She immigrated to the United States settling in Memphis, Tennessee, where she met her husband and married on January 30, 1963. Olive is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur W. Gregory; son and daughter-in-law, David and Ginger Gregory of Parma, Ohio; grandsons, Caleb Gregory and Colin Gregory, both of Parma, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Carol of Warrington, Cheshire, England; nephews and spouses, Paul and Cheryl Tischer of Bernie, Missouri and Neil and Heather Tischer of Cape Coral, Florida. Besides her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her sister, Renee Tischer; and her good friend, Shirley McCool. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the Wellston Church of Christ, with Minister Terry Geer officiating the services.
