Nieves Robles Fernandez

Nieves Robles Fernandez, age 84, was born in Brownsville, Texas on August 5, 1932 to Rita Aguilar and Manuel Robles. She was one of twelve children, and moved to San Antonio at the age of 16. Nieves was a strong independent woman and raised four children as a single mother. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother to her family. She spent over 20 years working at Oblate Missions, keeping the facility pristine. Although she was a dedicated and hard worker, we will always cherish her good sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Rodolfo Fernandez and Alfredo Fernandez, Jr.; her sister Maria Louisa, and her brothers; Manuel, Ernest, Mauricio, and Raul. She is survived by her children; Antonio "Tony" Fernandez; daughter-in-law, Diane Fernandez; only daughter, Alicia "Alice" Fernandez; and her youngest son, David Fernandez; her sisters; Gloria Gomez and Alma Robles; her brothers; Antonio, Robert, Alfredo, and Rudolfo; granddaughters, Roxanne and her husband, Roland Weaver, Cynthia and her husband, Joe Coronado; Antonio "Tony" Jr and his wife, Annette Fernandez, Gary and his wife, Carmen Fernandez; grandchildren, Joshua, Joey, Sigourney, Bryan, Christian, Julianna, Gizele, Matthew, Jonathan, Emmanuel; and nieces; Rosalinda Flores (Michael), and Jolanda Garcia (Thomas); and numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the staff of Complete Care Hospice/Homecare for the genuine care of their mother. Visitation will be on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. MASS FRIDAY JULY 21, 2017 12:00 P.M. ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH 1114 WILLOW ST.
