Michael David Benitez

Michael David Benitez, 34, of Norristown was called home suddenly by his heavenly Father on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Lovingly known as Michael, Mikey B, Mike or Daddy, Mike was a family man above all else. Anyone who knew Mike couldn't help but adore his contagious smile, big personality or sharp attire. His closest circle of family and friends will miss his deep love and immense loyalty the most. The biggest comfort to all is knowing his Pop, Gustavo Benitez, was waiting at the gates of heaven with open arms. Mike was the affectionate father to daughters Kameron, 16, and Mya, 8. He was a cherished son to Kim Benitez and the late Gustavo Benitez. Loyal brother to Gustavo (Christine), Julia (John) and Eric (Gina) Benitez. There was no bond quite like theirs. All of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews were near and dear to his heart. Megan Heller and Melina Lezis, mothers to his daughters, cared deeply for Mike. He also left behind his beloved girlfriend Alycia Corbo and his fur-child, Choko. The outpouring of support by the community has been overwhelmingly amazing. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Mike's Life Celebration on Sunday August 6, from 2 to 3:50 PM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. His funeral service will begin at 4 PM. Interment will be private.
