Bonnie Kay Sharpe, 75, of Port Huron, died Thursday, October 26, 2017.
She was born April 9, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Helen Steinhaus. She married Frank Sharpe on August 4, 1962 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett.
Bonnie was a 1960 graduate of Port Huron High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Bonnie was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank; son, Scott (Cheryl) Sharpe; daughter, Laurie (Rob) Elliott; grandchildren, Scotty Sharpe, Trevor (Natalie) Sharpe, Nigel (Carley) Elliott, Tanton Elliott, Nicole (Josh) Belanger and Taylor Fusco; great grandchildren, Layla Sharpe, Maddison Elliott, Scott Thomas Sharpe and Aubrey Sharpe; sister, Marsha (Wes) Davis; and several other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.
Bonnie will lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2017 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nigel Elliott, Scotty Sharpe, Trevor Sharpe, Tanton Elliott, Todd Ovesen and Russell Sharpe.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
