When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Kon's death has left a deep vacuum in all our lives and we mourn his passing with you. We will cling to all the wonderful memories he has given all of us and the knowledge that someday we will see him again. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Somehow our message got lost. Lois and I remember Con very well from high school. At that time (1945-48), Con was one of our classmates who we would now know as "cool." Although we haven't seen him in over 60 years, we still have fond memories of Con. Sympathy to his family and Peace.

Lois and I vividly remember Con from High School--he was ahead of his time and known even then to be "cool." We have not seen him for over 60 years but his life and reputation have live up to our expectations.
Peace.

So Konrad is in Heaven and we can only imagine the celebration, but the conversation might go like this.
"Hey Noah come over here a minute".
"I'm Konrad Marcus, you can call me Kon".
"I know who you are, Kon, you have a reputation up here".
"Oh, I should have known".
"Well look at this, Noah"?
"What is that Konrad"?
"Noah it's a visor, it keeps the sun out of your eyes on the inside of the ARK and this one will attach to the outside to keep the rain out of the inside, we can make them easy & SELL A TON OF EM".
"It will never work Kon"!
"Sure it will Noah, we sold millions of them to Ford, Chrysler & GM".
"Kon, It will not work".
"There is only one ARK."
But that's our Konrad, God bless him, still selling!
Now he's walking as tall as ever, speaking as clear as ever and shining like an angel.
To those of us who knew him, we should all be as enthusiastic about life here on earth, let's emulate a little Konrad today!

So many wonderful memories with Konrad and his family here on Hilton Head Island... raising our children together, building a Christian school together, church and community activities.....
Konrad showed us an example of a life well lived with an exuberant commitment to the Lord and others... may his legacy live on through the lives he touched..... grateful to have been one of them.

Heaven gained the most joyful, larger-than-life, disciple yesterday. Kon was like a surrogate father to me. JFK once said, "Many people walk the earth, but very few leave footprints." Kon Marcus, thank you for leaving footprints on our hearts and this world. We are better because of you. Psalm 116:15. Love and miss you. See you in Glory!
