I played many gigs with Tom during our stint at Bryan AFB. He was a superb musician who I admired greatly. I tried to get back in touch with him over the years but, regretfully, never made the connection.

To Thomas Grice, Jr and family. I'm so sorry to learn of Mr. Grice's passing. I was a law school classmate of your late brother Mark and kept in touch with your parents over the years. They were such sweet people. I know that Mr. Grice had such an impact on musical education on the East Coast so I know he will continue to live on in the melodies of countless musicians for years to come. I'm so saddened but take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with Mrs. Sylvia and Mark. Blessings

To the Bray and Grice families,
I'm very certain you know what a "jewel" Mr. Grice was in the City of Trenton and Trenton's education system in the Arts. He was an inspiration to me because I was one of the students who studied under him and gleaned from his expertise and wisdom in music. He was so very talented in his own right. In my humble opinion, he was one of the best sax players I've ever heard. He will be missed from among us here, but I know Heaven is rocking.... RIP Mr. Grice

My Goodbye
Heaven wanted another angel tonight.
You never felt you lost, because you ABSOLUTELY won this fight.
No pain or sorrow can keep you apart,
From what some my think is the end but is really your new the start.
Back to where you've wanted to be with your lovely wife you'll be.
I'll miss you but I'll let your heart be free.
I'll have to just hold on to all you've taught me.
Now that your in the world above the sky,
While we're on the ground hearing echoes of goodbyes.
But we'll meet again real soon and
I'll hear you in so many tunes.
I know heaven won't wait for goodbyes,
But I love you, so for now this is mine.
