To know Diane was to LOVE her! She greeted everyone with an exuberant smile! I knew Diane through the many years at Avon Lake schools. She touched so many of us with her kindness and friendship. May your family be comforted at this difficult time.

Diane set the bar of sacrificially giving beyond measure and living life to its fullest! My heart breaks over the loss of this earthly angel, but I embrace the comforting thought that she could enter the gates of heaven and hear the words," Well, done my good and faithful servant!"
My heart and prayers go out to the entire Scarpelli family....hold each other close and love each other like she showed you all time and time again.

RIP, dear Diane. We had a great time with swim team when our kids were younger. You found my children dear and always looked out for them -- just as you did with so many others. We loved your caring and fun-loving nature, always quick to laugh and never too busy to say hello. You will be sorely missed.

Diane Scarpelli may you Rest In Peace. I first met Diane working for the City of Avon Lake in the concessions and she has made a lasting impression on me. She touched many people in a positive way throughout her life and I am happy to be one of those people. She was a fighter and always had the best outlook on things when they were grim. She was a great friend and boss and I will always remember everything she did for me. I will really miss her and she will always be in my thoughts as well as her family.

My MOST fondest memories of Diane are probably ones that no one knows and I would love to share with her family & friends.... Diane used to pick up my son in the morning as her last stop to go to LEAPS and his little toddler brother wanted to go on her bus, since we were her last stop, she's let him on and he would proudly walk up and down the isles and then she would let him sit on her lap and beep her horn! HE JUST LOVED IT!!! Sadly, he passed away at age 2 and she (along with another AWESOME BUS DRIVER) gave me an amazing album with a book that they donated on his behalf to the Avon Lake Public Library. It was so thoughtful and so unexpected. I cherish it and look at it as an amazing rememberance. I'm so happy to have met Diane and have had such precious memories with her. She touched both of my son's heart and mine!! You will be missed, I'm sure, by all who knew you, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!!
