Melvin was born on December 2, 1936 and passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017. Melvin was a resident of Yadkinville, North Carolina at the time of passing. His Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Rev. Tim Tucker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Sharp family. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Mountain View Baptist Church, 1232 Mountain View Church Rd. Hamptonville, NC 27020.

Grandpa I never got to know you even though I would have liked to of known you. I am your daughter Monica Francos youngest daughter. Am sorry to hear about your passing and will wait to meet you some day in heaven. My prayers and condolences go out to the family.
