Not sure what to say?

I met Gail at an art exhibition at the James Lee House a couple of years ago and became friends on Facebook. She was so kind as to buy my book I had just published and gave me encouragement. I just today discovered what happened, and I am so saddened. We met one other time, again at the Lee House at an open house last Christmas. We barely knew one another, but I enjoyed her posts. I will be praying for all of her friends and family who miss her.

Gail, You will truly be missed by the one's that worked with you at MLGW. You taught me how to read meter's when I became a cut off person. All the years I have known you I never heard you say a negative thing and you also had a smile on your face. Your Loved people and our friend known as PETS. I will Miss you Gail and we will Meet Again. Love Always Your Friend Garland!!!

I worked with Gail years ago at MLGW and made contact again on Facebook. I will miss seeing your post about your life with Toodles. Your death has touched me in such a way that surprised me since we were not close friends. The world is missing a very good person and that makes me very sad.

Gail, I miss you. I already miss seeing your Facebook posts everyday. Heaven has gained two precious angels. My heart is broken. May angels watch over you while you both sleep. Rest in paradise.

Gail, you were above all a very kind and generous spirit. Others have said that someone who is loved by animals is trustworthy because animals have an open heart. You will be missed by many. We had just begun to be friends. I wish I had talked to you longer last week when you called. The older I get the more I realize that if you feel drawn to talk to someone or go have lunch with someone don't hesitate. Because life is short and we do not always have time to share with those who travel with us so be swift to be kind. Go in Peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of us who had the privilege of being friends with Gail. She was such a kind and giving soul. She was a bright light for everyone who knew her. I can just image that she has already become the caretaker of the "Rainbow Bridge" where all of our pets are waiting for us. She will foever be in our hearts and memories.

Gail & her precious Toodle made each of our days better - with her FB posts, pictures, quotes, Toodle & lake adventures, a voicemail, a call, a message, her mere presence. She always gave us the feeling & being of hope, of love, of compassion to all people & animals. Her bond with Toodle was magical. Our days are different now & more empty without her. I & my Magic Man always ended our day with a message to her of "God bless & keep you & precious Toodle" - that is still true, perhaps even more so now. Gail would not want us to mourn & cry - she would tell us: "I did not die; I am not in the grave; I do not sleep; I am the thousand winds, the glints of snow, the sunlight on your face, the gentle rains, the uplifting rush, the quiet birds in flight, the soft stars that shine at night" - Anonymous

God gained an angel that day and we lost one. I will miss Gail's sweet and cheerful posts on Facebook. I don't think she ever met a stranger. I wish I could be there to help you celebrate her life.

Gail was my Aunt. She touched so many lives with her beautiful heart and shining soul. She will be forever in my heart and always in my thoughts. She was taken too soon. I will miss her everyday. At least I know she will be with Mimi now , the love of her life. Still selfishly I wish she was still here. My family and myself loved her so very much. As I know her many friends did. I pray for peace not only for us but everyone that knew and loved her.

Like so many others, I reconnected with Gail on Facebook. Gail was such an inspiration to her entire class - every night there was a message like "peaceful night and angels watch over you". In the mornings, messages were just as encouraging. Heaven gained an angel. I can't wish her back on earth because she is with Jesus. I'm heart-broken. Prayers for her family and for Toodle.

GAIL was like no other person I have ever met, there was nothing phony about this wonderful woman there was only love and concern for her fellow citizens and animals. You will be truly missed my friend. Enjoy your heavenly reward. If there was anyone living the way JESUS intended us to live, you were that person, I so admired you.

Prayers for all the family and friends that loved Gail. Social media has made it possible for many of us that grew up and attended school in Memphis to re-connect with our old friends. Gail had a servant's heart and will be missed by so many....I cherished her friendship and grew strangely attached to Toodle without ever meeting her in person! Gail made that possible. God bless....

Gail was an amazing woman.....always a smile on her face, never a bad thing to say about anyone, always helping and serving others (and animals) any way she could. Truly an angel of God sent to us to teach us how we are to live our lives. I will miss you. Gail, thank you for being a friend to me and to so many others. We will see you again one day. For now, go in peace with the saints and the angels.....now you are free......go in Peace.
