Marilyn Reeve
Memphis - Marilyn R. Reeve, 73, of Memphis, entered eternal life Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born March 18, 1944 in Detroit and has lived in the Memphis area for the majority of the past 47 years. Marilyn was very dedicated to raising her family. She had a passion for crocheting and she would always donate her handmade hats, blankets, mittens and booties to hospitals for the newborns. Marilyn is survived by her children, John Reeve, Tammy Wehrum, Donald (Jessie) Reeve, Michael (Tammy) Reeve, Tracy (Russell) Brown, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; one brother, James Hazard; and her beloved labradoodle, Bailey. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and one sister. Visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm in Kammeraad-Merchant Funeral Home, Memphis. The Reverend James Huff, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Memphis, will be giving a blessing and committal prayer at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God blesses us with wonderful memories to help us through our loss and the days,ahead. Your mother was a good person with a big heart. She loved her family dearly. I enjoyed working with her and her friendship meant a lot to me. I will always cherish the Afghan she made me. My deepest sympathy to you and your famy.
