DOUGLAS "DOUG" MOONEY age 88. Born in Bowling Green January 31, 1929 to the late Douglas A. and Agnes (nee Sharf) Mooney. Passed away January 13, 2018 in Middelburg Heights, Ohio. Beloved husband of the late Ethel "Lee" (nee Wylie). Loving father of William "Bill" Mooney (Elaine) and Lynn Murray (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Meagan Witkowski (Tim), Kyle Mooney (Erin) and Jason Murray. Great grandfather of Keira and Audrey Witkowski and Harper Mooney. Dear brother of Norman (deceased) (Jane) and the late Thomas (Peggy) and June Bechstein (Ray). U. S. Army Veteran. Doug was a 1954 graduate of B.G.S.U. and had a 35 year career at CWRU. Contributions suggested to C.W.R.U. in his name. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018, 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Friends received Saturday 2 – 4 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RAOD, MIDDELBURG HEIGHTS, OH 44130 (West of I-71)

So sorry to find out about Doug's passing. I was to see him the week before and knew he was struggling. Took him a strawberry shake and made his day. I will miss Doug & Lee. Long time neighbors and friends. My sympathy to his family.
