BARRINGTON - Henrietta was born March 23, 1923 in Palatine. She passed away peacefully January 18, 2018 in Inverness. Henrietta was a Barrington resident her entire life, where she spent many years active in the Women's Fellowship at St. Paul UCC, and was also a supporter of BACOA. She was a caregiver to many family members and a very caring, loving mother, grandma, great-grandma and auntie. Henrietta is survived by her children; Sylvia (David) Chidley, Diane (Hudson) Motley, and James (Janice) Sturm; grandchildren, Philip Yurtis, Michael (Kimberly Dawson) Chidley, Cara (Daniel) Payson, Charles (Samar) Motley, Edward Motley, Matthew Motley, and Samantha Sturm; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Tanner Yurtis, Kylie, Hudson, and Lily Motley; and dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Miles; siblings, Raymond, Andrew, Henry and Kenneth Holtzee, Edna Eisler, Viola Keisler, and two infant sisters. Visitation will be 10am until the funeral service at 12pm, Monday, January 22 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barrington Historical Society or to St. Paul UCC.
