Cheronda Carter, 46, entered eternal life on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 9, 1971 in Hartford, CT to her loving mother, Ozella (Milner) Carter and her late father, Mark H. Carter, Jr. She remained a resident of Hartford until 2+ years ago when she relocated and moved her family to East Hartford. During her 8th grade year at Fox Middle School, Cheronda won the Scripps National Spelling Bee. She attended Hartford Public High School and went on to Job Corp. She was a life-line to everyone she knew. Her number one joy was children. She was a mother figure to many children and helped raise many of them. She is loved and survived by her devoted and loving children, Shaqoia Carter and Treavon Condell, her adorable grandson, Legend Condell; a devoted lifelong partner of 26 years, Howard Condell; her mother, Ozella (Milner) Carter, all of East Hartford, CT; two sisters, Gennell Carter of Hartford, CT and Kenika Carter of East Hartford, CT; nieces, Imani, Rhacquel, and Solange; nephews, Keron, Omari, Jakari, Milan and O’Shon; and Taquana Hudson who had a special place in her heart; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, god-children and extended family. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 03, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, Connecticut
