Deborah Legg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 27, 2018.
Deborah Ann Legg, 65, entered into rest on Saturday, January 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Logans Ferry Heights, New Kensington, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Diana (Abraham) Kozlowski. She was the loving and devoted wife of Joseph B. Legg whom she married on February 14, 2016. Debbie worked throughout her life, first and foremost as a teacher, educating the young and old alike. Later she worked at Wawa and became the Assistant Manager at the 4th Street store in Ocean City, which she loved. In addition, she was a title agent in New Jersey. But her greatest accomplishment in life was being the best mom and grandma ever! Debbie raised four very successful children, through thick and thin, who will be forever grateful. She loved living in Ocean City, where she raised her children and afforded them a wonderful childhood, a great education whilst instilling an amazing work ethic in all of them. From the beginning, she taught them the value of music and the art of rock and roll. We never missed a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac concert within driving distance. In later years, she loved nothing more than to have family gatherings and meals out at her favorite restaurants; Sunday family dinners were her specialty. After seeing her children into adulthood, she took on raising her grandkids with whom she loved dearly. She was also the most kind-hearted and generous person and would do anything for anyone.  Debbie will be missed, loved and fondly remembered by her children; sons Bradley (Monica) Bahnak of Egg Harbor Township, Joseph Constant of Egg Harbor Township; daughters Melissa (Manfred) Windberger of Kufstein, Austria, Patricia Constant of Mays Landing; her husband Joseph Legg of Rio Grande and his children Joseph Legg, Eric (Kelsey) Legg, and Christopher Legg with whom she loved and treated as her own; her mother Diana Kozlowski, brother William Kozlowski and her grandchildren William, Madeline and Bryce. She is preceded in death by her late husband Patrick Constant and father William Kozlowski. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. I remember a few years ago at Trish's birthday when Mrs. Debbie was over the moon happy at dinner. She made me smile so much. Always made me feel like family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
