(Snyder) Stein, Linda 7/16/1952 - 2/5/2018 Dorr Linda Marie (Snyder) Stein, left us peacefully and gracefully on the evening of February 5, 2018 surrounded by family at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital. Linda was born July 16, 1952, daughter of Glen and Clara Snyder of Dorr, MI. Linda graduated from Wayland High School in 1970, and attended nursing school at GRCC. She married Jim Stein on October 4, 1975. Linda loved her community and church, offering many hours of volunteer service. The "First Queen of Dorr" led a very active lifestyle, enjoying "lively" walks and riding bikes with family and friends. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers, and sharing a cup of coffee and a conversation. Linda found her greatest joy in life from spending time with her grandchildren, giving them playful and magical memories only a grandmother can give. Linda touched everyone she met during her time here. Those who knew her will remember her strength, strong faith, and sense of duty to her family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband Jim, son Chad (Stephanie), daughter Keri (Frans), son Paul (Angie), daughter Kristen (Clayton) Schauss, brother Daniel (John) Snyder, sister Roni (Scott) Hohnke, brother Joe Snyder, sister Mary (Rob) Taylor, and grandchildren Sean (6), Olivia (4), Audrey (3), Nicholas (2), Colin (2), and Caleb (1). Visitation will be 4-8p on Thursday, February 8th and Friday, February 9th at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, MI. The funeral service will be 11a on Saturday, February 10th at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church in Byron Center, MI. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guestbook online at www.kubiakcook.com.

You were on my mind this week Linda, thoughts of our children at SMV school and the very first time I met you.
I opened my emails today after taking a few days away from the internet and there you were in a 'memory' email.
God seems to keep us all connected even when we don't plan it. Still love and miss you, Pam.
