In 1965 Nancy and I met in the choir of St. John's Episcopal Church in Arlington and became instant friends. I moved to Florida in 1970 and we saw each other only sporadically through the years, but our friendship endured through many phone conversations. In spite of her serious health issues over the past several years, she remained cheerful, funny, tolerant and optimistic. I admired her greatly and will miss her. Ron and Doug, I don't have to tell you what a wonderful mom you had. Please accept my condolences.
