Gastonia: Mr. Kenneth Allen went to be with the Lord Friday, February 16, 2018 at home with his loving wife of 68 years, Mrs. Faye (Cabe) Allen. Surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren Sheena and Eli Allen.
Mr. Allen was a hard working loving father, brother and grandfather. He was the owner of several convenience stores. You couldn't put into words the type of man he truly was.
Kenneth is the son of the late Cora Earney Allen and Frank Allen. Preceding Kenneth in death are a son; Michael Ray Allen and seven brothers.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Faye (Cabe) Allen, son; Kenneth Lee Allen and his significant other Charlene, daughters; Patricia Allen Payne and husband Eddie, Vickie A. Madsen and her significant other Luke and Donna Hughes and husband Dan, sister; Etta Mae Bruce, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Life for Kenneth will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia. Committal will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Kenneth's name to the ASPCA, www.aspca.org or Hospice of Gaston County, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054
