Michelle Palermi Obituary

Published by John F Givnish Funeral Home - Academy Rd on Feb. 16, 2018.
Michelle I. Palermi (nee Krull) age 57 of Philadelphia passed away suddenly on February 16, 2018. Michelle was the beloved wife of the late Rick and loving mother of Melissa and Eric. Also surviving are many cousins. Our mom was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 23rd, 1960. She lived many places including New York, Arizona, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia. Our mom was friendly to anyone she met and made tons of special friends throughout her life. In Philadelphia is where she met and married her one true love, our late father Rick. Our mother enjoyed watching sports but her favorite team was the Philadelphia Phillies, she's been to countless games and would watch their games on T.V any chance she could get, whether we were winning or losing that year. Not just because of the Phillies, our mother loved the color red and red roses, everything she had including her awesome sports cars, just had to be RED! Our mom also LOVED music, music was her escape from the world at times. You could find her listening to 80's music, soft rock, classics, P!NK and most definitely Elton John, who was her favorite of all time, just ask anyone who knows her! Our mom was truly a fighter who never really knew how strong she was. Raising two small children on her own wasn't an easy task but we turned out just fine thanks to all her amazing life advice, tips, and lessons she always taught us. That was something she was great at, teaching us extremely important life lessons at a young age to prepare us for the world. Our mother truly loved and appreciated every single one her family members and friends up until the very end. She is truly someone that no one could ever forget. She will always be in our hearts and forever by our sides. As she would always say and would want us to tell all her friends and loved ones, XOXOXO (hugs and kisses). Relatives and friends are invited to share in Michelle's Life Celebration Thursday, February 22, 2018 starting 10:00 AM and to participate in her Memorial Service 11:00 AM at John F. Givnish of Academy Rd. 10975 Academy Rd., Phila, PA 19154. Interment private.
