I just found out that Jim had passed. I met Jim through our work with the animals. He was very dedicated to them. I also had a chance to visit him when I worked at D&A Auto Body. I can still see him, in my minds eye, driving his beautiful red Mustang convertible.Pulling into the body shop driveway. Rest in peace Jim. Take care of all those pets across the rainbow bridge.

Dear Doug,
My deepest sympathy on the sudden loss of your father. I did not know him personally, but he sounds like the sort of innately good and kind person for whom 150 years could never have been enough. A tremendous loss; you have my condolences.

Knowing Jim the last 15 years or so has been a pure delight. We met doing animal rescue, and I learned that he was one of the kindest people I could ever know. In the last couple years we would run into each other almost every week shopping at Meijer late at night and always got into a great conversation. I will miss him dearly.
