Mrs. Tatton, I am so sorry for the loss of your young son, Craig,
Five years ago you unexpectedly joined me and my family during the viewing hours for my late Dad. I was happy that you attended, and your attendance gave me warm memories and comfort. Thank you!
I distinctly remember evenings when you and your husband gathered Craig and your other children into the family car for a trip to the drive in movie of the day. I used to chuckle that you had all of your kids in pajamas, when I guess I was about aged 9. My particular parents never took me to a drive in movie, though in retrospect, I know I would have loved the experience. Pajamas and all.
With a nod to your husband, and a note that The Masters was last week, I remember he was very happy when his golf score was closed to 90. Me too, even today.
Craig was in our backyard and "street games" of the day, with Mark and others on "our block." For the record, a line drive off the "aluminum siding" of Craig's dad's house usually resulted in an agreed "ground rule double." A later observed "dent" might have been reversed to a single. After review, of course.
I feel bad that as I exited Cuyahoga Falls and tried to still look back with pride, as I do today, I completely missed that Craig played for Walsh. In very good years, as I have today read.
Godspeed Craig.

I did not know Craig just other family members. He came from one of the best families ever. The elegy (Obit) is one of the best I have ever seen especially the last line (I have fought the fight...)

I've known Craig for many years, from being married to my cousin Deb.. I always thought Craig was a great guy, he was a good husband and great father to my cousin's Keith and Kristina.. He was a great provider for his family. I will always have memories of Craig and his weird sense of humor that I always found funny. Craig loved his grandchildren, and we all knew that by watching him play and make over them.. Craig is going to be missed by many! My condolences to Craig's family , past and present... I have know doubt that Craig is walking with Jesus, and the battles Craig fought are no more.. May you rest in peace, Craig, you will be missed and always loved...

Craig and I served as co-captains on the wrestling team our senior year; he always showed great leadership. I remember battling him in "take down" round robins. I think he let me win once!
