WORCESTER-David Neal Carlson, 53, of Worcester, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in his home. He was predeceased by his father Carl F. Carlson, Jr. in 2004, his mother Barbara E. (Holmes) Carlson, who recently passed away on July 14th and a nephew, Nicholas Marlborough in 2012.
David is survived by five sisters; Sandi Carlson, Nancy Smith and her husband Carl, Laurie Lebel and Lisa Marlborough, all of Worcester and Karen Lasko and her husband John of Collegeville, PA. He also leaves nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat Senior High School. David had a long career in sales in the seafood industry before retiring due to illness. He was a member of Bethlehem Covenant Church; a place where he found comfort and peace. David was very proud of his Swedish heritage and was somewhat of a history buff. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services and burial in All Faith's Cemetery will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to Neady Cats, P.O. Box 213, W. Boylston, MA 01583. Neady cats assisted the family with the rescue of David's cat, Peanut.
