PLEASANT HILL — Estelle "Louise" Frey, age 84, of Pleasant Hill, formerly of Gettysburg, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at StoryPoint Senior Living, Troy. She was born May 16, 1933 in Darke County, OH, to the late William & Edna Viola (Reck) Fair.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1951; worked as a cook for many years at Franklin Elementary and Franklin-Monroe High School; and she was a 4-H leader for many years.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Frey; eight brothers, Lyle, Norman, Gene, Carl, Richard, Doyle, Ned and Donnie Fair; infant sister, Gilva Irene Fair.
Louise is survived by her three children, Kelly (Mike) Watercutter of Troy, Sherri Colby (Jim Higgins) of Troy, and Bill (Cami) Frey of Houston; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Fair of Gettysburg; sister, Roberta (Jack) Warner of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation to be held Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covington Schools Scholarship Fund (list Bill Frey in memo line), 807 Chestnut St., Covington, OH 45318.
